Attempted Runner.

The non-running part of me.

This will probably be the hardest part of my blog. It sometimes is very hard for me to create these “bio” sections of webpages. I never know what to say about myself. I’m very modest, so its hard.  I’ll just start with the basics and see where it takes me.

I’m in my thirties and live California. I have a desk job which isn’t the best for someone trying to live a healthy and active lifestyle. I love old things (50’s stuff). Music of all types, excluding hip-hoppy rap and country; I do have a few songs on my IPod in those genres but for the most part, its everything else.

I’m addicted to ellipsis…Not to be confused with ellipses cause then that would have to do with math…and I’m not a very good Mathlete. I also like to use parenthesis in abundance and I don’t always correct my spelling and/or grammar mistakes. Life’s too short to go back and correct what’s already been done…

I’m very keen on puns. You will soon learn that. I love to laugh and pictures. Instagram and Pinterest fuels that fire.

I love to read. I read at least 2-3 books a week if I’m lucky. I want to not only be street smart, but book smart too. I’ve also try watch Jeopardy every time it’s on AND I’m answering questions correctly! I’ll be a genius in no time.

Disneyland is great. Walt is a hero.

*With a sprinkling of Tinker Bell’s fairy dust, away they all flew, heading for Never Land.*

RunDisney is a given because it makes it mandatory that I go to Disneyland at least once a year. Walt Disney world is on my bucket list. I’ve participated in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon weekend since the inaugural one (HA! in 2012) and have participated in the RunDisney Disneyland Half Marathon weekend a few times.

Obvious, with running, I adore Brazen Racing, they are my local race coordinators. Everyone, yes everyone (that means you will have to come to California just for there events), should check them out cause they are amazing.

I love to eat (duh) and that is what probably got to me where I once was (view my X-weighted bio). Since I’m now gluten free (not by choice), burritos are no longer my downfall. However, Nacho cheese always will be. I put that on EVERYTHING. It’s an obsession. ahahaa. Don’t judge me.

I have two puppies who I love more than anything.

There is Jesse “Monster Face” James.

He’s the trouble maker of the group. I’ve had him since he was a few weeks old so I can never get mad at him…even though sometimes I should. He didn’t get the “Monster Face” nickname for no reason.

Then we have Milo.

He looks like a big dog and sometimes acts like a big dog, but he is my little T-Rex at about 1 1/2 feet tall with little arms and 22 pounds of solid muscle.

I don’t know a lot about Milo’s puppy days because we adopted him when he was roughly 2 years old. All we knew about him was that a Sheriff found him behind a dumpster in an alley way. He’s (was and still is at certain times) very skittish. I think he was beaten. I know, my heart aches every time. He always gives me the saddest puppy dog eyes but is usally faking it because his tail is waggin’ a mile a minute. I can ALWAYS count on Milo to be by my side.

At first Jesse didn’t like Milo (I had Jesse for 2 years before Milo) but now they are inseparable.

*Don’t worry, no one was harmed in the making of this photo*

Which then leads me to the third love of my life…HA! Don’t let him know he came third on the list – However, I don’t think it matters much because he’ll probably admit to loving the boys (Jesse and Milo) more than me too, so at least it’s even – is my husband, A. We got married on 11/12/13, a day that’s easy enough so he won’t forget.

We’ve been together since 2006. This photo below was from our first year together.

This above photo was from October of 2012. Ignore the buzzed look on his face…I could have posted another picture of us together, but I think I look really pretty in this…so, there ya go.

As briefly mentioned above, I’m Gluten Free. After three years of belly aches and pains, I finally was diagnosed in Feb of 2012 with a Gluten Intolerance. At first it was hard to transition from eating gluten like I breath air, to not…but I’ve gotten the hang of it.

This blog will document anything from running, exercise, food, life….or whatever else I deem necessary. Follow if you want, hate if you must….doesn’t worry me either way. I’m just laid back and just don’t really care all that much what other people do.

However, if you do decide to stick around while….Welcome! and I hope you enjoy your stay.
